At the end of April I was able to spend 6 days in London because my friend had the once in a lifetime opportunity to run the London Marathon (the lottery has a 1% chance for international entries)! This was my first visit to England, the weather was perfect and I exhausted myself trying to see as much as possible in a short amount of time :) As with any trip I take, it’s hard to narrow down my photos into highlights but some of my favorites activities were: seeing the royal ballet and a musical on the west end, learning the history of the Tower of London, the juxtaposition of new and old architecture, views of Big Ben from the water, St. Dunstain in the East church garden, and the excitement of the crowd during the race!

On the last day I took a day trip to Oxford which was a beautiful town/ University full of both history and pop culture references (Harry Potter was filmed there, JRR Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and CS Lewis were once students ). It was a photographers dream location and f I ever return to England I would for sure spend more time there.
