London Trip

At the end of April I was able to spend 6 days in London because my good friend had the once in a lifetime opportunity to run the London Marathon (the lottery has a 1% chance for international entries). This was my first visit to England, the weather was perfect, and I exhausted myself trying to see as much as possible in a short amount of time :)

It was hard to narrow down my favorite photos, but these highlights include: Greenwich park, the royal ballet, the tower of London and tower bridge, St. Dunstain in the East church garden, Leadenhall Market, Big Ben, and of course the actual race day including people running in costumes and people on roller skates providing entertainment!

Meghan and I at Greenwich Park

On the last day I took a day trip to Oxford which was a beautiful town/ University full of both history and pop culture references (Harry Potter was filmed there, JRR Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and CS Lewis were once students ). It was a photographers dream location and f I ever return to England I would for sure spend more time there.

Greece Trip 2025

Before I get into a very busy October of family photo sessions, I had to share a personal post of pictures I took on my trip to Greece! Aside from visiting friends in Athens, I also joined a group tour to the islands of Tinos, Naxos, Mykonos, and Santorini. Carrying my camera around all week gave me a chance to practice taking pictures of things I’m not normally drawn to, such as landscapes. Though I’m still a portrait photographer at heart and had to take some pictures of my group members during our sunset boat tour! Enjoy this small view of Greece :)

Cuba 2024

The first week of January (including New Years Eve) I had the opportunity to travel to Cuba with a group put together by Laura Ericson Group Trips. Our guide for the week, Cassie, made sure we ate in the best restaurants and saw the real Cuba outside of the tourist areas. We spent a few days in Havana then got to see the beautiful countryside in Vinales before returning to Havana again. Classic cars are just as common as modern cars on the roads in Cuba, and made for some great photo opportunities. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the week :)

Italy 2021

Back in September, between COVID variants, I was lucky enough to travel to Italy (rescheduled from April 2020). I had the opportunity to visit Rome, Florence and Venice which was a photographers dream! I took so many pictures but finally this winter had time to go through and edit them. It was hard deciding what to share but I hope you enjoy seeing Italy though my eyes and maybe get inspired to take you own trip in the future :)

Belize Trip

I’ve been home a week from my trip to Belize with Highland Park Church youth group and Experience Mission and couldn’t wait to start editing my photos. I’ve been on several mission trips in my life and always enjoy traveling to new countries and learning about their culture. However, this was the first time I had no other job aside from photography. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend a week with some wonderful people doing things like exploring Mayan ruins, building an addition on a church, and snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea! Here are some of my favorite pictures :)
